Good afternoon friends,

The Secretary of State published in late June a proposed question for
the referendum ballot to repeal the school consolidation, which will be
voted on November 3, 2009.

The proposed question is:

           "Do you want to repeal the 2007 law on
            school consolidation and restore the laws
            previously in effect?"

I think that the question is precise and to the point.  The Secretary of
State's office will receive comments on the proposed question until the
close of business on Monday, July 27, 2009.  I urge you to send a
comment to the Secretary of sate in favor of the question.  The e-mail

Please take a minute as soon as you receive this e-mail and indicate
your support for the proposed question.  Thank you.
